Dr. N. G. Berrill founded New York Forensic nearly 30 years ago and now boasts a dozen clinicians who perform assessments and provide treatment from an interdisciplinary/team-based model. Clinical services are provided in English and Spanish. Over the past decade, the field of clinical psychology has moved toward adopting evidence-based assessments and treatments. New York Forensic remains committed to upholding the practice standards disseminated by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) in addition to several other professional organizations. Further, Dr. Berrill has been on faculty at several medical schools, as well as CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice for over 25 years where he has taught graduate coursework in psychopathology, and the psychology of criminal behavior.
